I love people!

I have an account on Vimeo, do you?
I spend a lot of time on Vimeo, watching all the beautiful videos people have created, do you?
I created a channel called "I love people", to gather the works of amazing people.

If you have videos up on Vimeo, send me your link! I would love to see your work.
If you have favorite videos that you want to share, I'm also in!

Collector

I am a true collector. I wanted to be one when I was a kid, I tried to collect stamps, celebrity pictures, figurines, in vain. I was more interested in being recognized as a collector than anything else, really.

In the more recent years though I have succesfully collected more virtual things: songs, internet bookmarks, accounts on various webpages, pictures found online. I guess it shows the change of lifestyle!

I am a frantic internet collector. The thing is, I am so caught into collecting, that half of the time I do not even spend the time to look into what I am collecting.

Like this song, "Personal" by the band Stars.

I have listened to it millions of times, but never really heard its lyrics before tonight. It makes it even more amazing.

Enjoy.

Also, my dear kepz nikkinicole told me about this song by friends Sara BAreilles (<3) and Ingrid Michaelson.

Oh joy, oh accessible words!

Ok. As much as I am into music downloading, I would never really have thought I would do this. But, I came across this website by chance the other day, while typing my previous post, did a couple of researches, and am currently amazed at the possibilities lying on my screen.

Now I agree 100% with the fact that having a physical book in your hands is the only way to go. But knowing how often I am on my computer, this still is pretty amazing to me.

Please, welcome Scribd into your bookmarks.

Books books books

I just finished reading Journal d'Hirondelle by Amelie Nothomb. Which means that I have finally read each and every single book she has published! It feels strange. I am only hoping a new book is on the way, which I will definitely have to look into.

So now, on to my dear Bukowski! I have already read South of No North (that you can read here), and I am now about to open Pulp. It is a total different style, but I am thrilled to read more of his works. I am planning on devouring all of it, the way I did with Amelie Nothomb.

Know of/like any of these two? Have authors/books you would suggest? I need to get back to reading more.
